Youth Services

Rotary believes in developing the next generation of leaders. Our programs help younger leaders build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service. In addition to the below Rotary programs, our club also offers youth scholarships and supports high school trips.

Community Youth Events

Our club sponsored Farmerettes, a youth play about the young women who kept the farms running during the second world war. One of the actors in the play is also one of the students that our club sponsored as an outgoing exchange student.

Interact

Ages 12-18

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun.

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

Short term and long term exchanges are offered. Short term exchanges last from several days to 3 months and are often structured as camps, tours, home-stays and occur when school is not in session.
