Meaford Rotary Inducts New Leadership

Rotary Club of Meaford inducted its 2016-17 officers at the meeting of June 27th, including Bernard Brunner as president.

Brunner has been a member of the Meaford club since 2007 and has been a Rotarian for 20 years. He was born, raised and educated in Meaford, Ontario, where he lives with his wife Debbie.

In his remarks to the club, President Brunner identified goals for the upcoming year. One was a commitment to “ensuring no child is hungry” by maintaining Rotary support of the “Backpacks for Learning” and “Food for Thought” student nutrition programs at Georgian Bay Community School (formerly Georgian Bay Secondary School).

Outgoing President Phil Cant remains active as the Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6330.
